Dr Stavros Bournazos is a Molecular Biologist and is the Lab Supervisor of Molecular Diagnostics and Genetics at Genotypos Science labs since 2018.
He organizes and supervises the operation of the laboratory, the establishment and improvement of diagnostic protocols, reviews and approves laboratory results, analyzes and interprets genetic/genomic results. He was a co-founder and the Scientific Director of “Elytron Analysis Molecular Diagnostics Lab” and he has over 35 years of lab experience in molecular diagnostics and in clinical biochemistry.
He has a PhD from the University of Patras, Department of Biology, Cell Biology laboratory. He is an invited lecturer in scientific events and he has peer-reviewed publications in the field of Molecular Biology.
