What type of tests does Genotypos perform?
Genotypos specializes in molecular, cytogenetic, genomic, and cytogenomic analysis. Our lab is accredited for flow cytometry tests, too.
Do you perform tests on animal specimens?
We only accept human samples.

Can I ship my sample to Genotypos or is it mandatory to come to your premises for blood testing?
You can either book an appointment via email or phone call for blood collection or contact logistics@genotypos.gr for more information regarding the collection and shipment of your sample.
Why should I test for hereditary cancer?
Many genes in which harmful genetic changes increase the risk of cancer have been identified and the list keeps constantly growing. Having an inherited harmful genetic change in one of these genes is sometimes referred to as having a hereditary cancer syndrome. Genetic testing of the blood or saliva can be used to identify whether someone has an inherited harmful genetic change in one of these genes.
Is there an available service for genetic counseling?
You can book an appointment via email or phone call for genetic counseling with one of our Geneticists, either in person or through Webex.
If I order 2 tests, with different turn-around times will I get my results separately or will I have to wait until both tests are completed?
Results are sent according to their release date, so you are going to receive each result once it’s completed.
