Maria graduated from the Biology Department of the University of Athens in 2000 after having been granted a-four-year scholarship.
From 2001 to 2009 she worked as a biologist in two of the leading laboratories in Greece, Bioforma & InVitro Labs. Her thesis for her Master’s Degree was published and presented in multiple conventions. From 2013 to 2018 she worked for Locus Medicus Lab, where she engaged herself in research and analysis regarding subfertility techniques.
During this period, she took part in many mTESE procedures performed by Dr Makarounis. From 2019 she undertook administrative duties in Genotypos Science Labs M.S.A. and had a major contribution in establishing Genotypos as a leading lab during the COVID-19 pandemic. Maria speaks English, German and Italian and is happy to be able to apply all of her lab experience and knowledge in customer service.
